The human race has come a long way on our journey through life, and after all this time, we have arrived at a place where we must make a decision. At our feet lie the casualties of wars, greed, and selfishness; our spirits have grown tired from the exhaustion of survival; and our hope for better days dwindles with each passing night.

But hope is not lost. I assure you there is a light on the horizon, and we must begin walking toward it. It is a light that signals the existence of a place we always hoped was real but slowly convinced ourselves was only a dream. And that place is a world of peace.

We must utilize the modern resources we have at our disposal, alter course, and pursue this new world. Like all great human achievements, it requires a vision—one we can align with and begin walking toward as a collective whole; one that can guide us through places we’ve never been before. We aren’t going to wake up in a state of world peace by chance; without a vision for how to get there, we will continue to wander in aimless despair as our current way of being drains us of whatever humanity we have left.

I wrote you this love letter because you deserve to know who I am, how I feel about you, and why I’m about to change your world forever. These words are not meant to bring about world peace; only my coming actions will facilitate that. This letter is simply my opportunity to ensure you know someone out there in the world cares about you every day—and is driven because of it.

I see you for the once-in-the-history-of-the-universe kind of person you are, and I acknowledge that we, as a global community, are better because of it.
